TEETH KISSIN’ Where Elephants Reside is an adaptation of Southgate-Smith’s spoken word poetry written throughout the period of 2019-2021.

The book uses archival material, in this case, archival photographs and the artist's original images to create a sequence of collages integrated with spoken word poetry. She/They adopt a cross-disciplinary approach, blurring the line between the personal, historical and collective.
